Profit with a Purpose

Beacon Hill Ventures is not your normal company.  It was founded in 2005 to generate income to help support a unique educational effort in the central mountains of Sri Lanka.  This school, Beacon Hill Academy, provides a free, one-year program to help young adults in the area make a positive difference in their communities, by equipping them with interpersonal and technical skills, encouraging them to develop critical thinking, and inspiring them to serve others. All profits earned by Beacon Hill Ventures, EVERY PENNY, goes directly to the operating costs of the school--your purchases will have a direct impact on the lives of youth in Sri Lanka.
 
Beacon Hill Tea
Our high-grown organic black tea comes from the Koslande Estate in the central mountains of Sri Lanka.  Not only is Koslande certified organic, but is also certified fair-trade, which means that it treats its workers fairly and pays them a decent wage.
